In the beginning she was funny and joked around a lot but as the semester went on she became more sarcastic and rude. She makes you feel stupid and not want to ask questions. She expects you to figure out what you got wrong yourself. Would NOT take her again!! Made me hate English even more than I do. She expects you to do everything her way only..

English was never easy for me, but Professor Cohn made it very clear that shouldn't be an excuse. Her class is not going to be easy, as long as you do as she says you should pass. Also don't be late or she will not accept any work from you and give you hell about being late.

If you have to take her then good luck. Make sure you're on time!! Or she will wild out on you! Make sure you have all the handouts organized and everything you need for that day!! She is very sarcastic, makes it seem like it's the classes fault when a few people arent prepared. Show up on time, do the journals, and try ur best on the papers. Gdspd

If you did good in your English 121 class don't expect to do good here. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get at least a B in one of the assignments. She gives out alot of journals with 4-5 questions. But don't write a few sentences or you're going to fail that journal assignment. I be writing a whole paragraph as a answer and still can't pass.

Really wasn't as bad as everybody here is saying.. Sometimes it does feel like she just wants to hear herself talk and she does place blame when it isnt about blame, but she does care. It won't seem like it, but she does. You're going to be a better writer and overall she's fair, but tough.

The worst teacher i have ever had. If anyone does not wanna pass their english class, take her. She is unfair grader, you cannot ask her anything, her methodology of teaching is horrible, she only gives papers and says just do just like on papers says , but does not clearly explain. haven't taken worst class than that.

Professor Cohn was one of the worst professors I have ever taken. She gives you multiple assignments right after another. If you want to have a good grade for English, do NOT take her. I learned nothing, and she made my English 122 a miserable experience.

If you're seriously determined to improve your writing even if you fail, go for it. Always be on time. NOT EVEN 5 MIN LATE. NO JOKE. I sometimes liked her. She is very intelligent. Lots of handouts. Bring them daily. Miss one class and you're LOST. If you care about NOT FAILING, DONT TAKE HER EVEN IF SHE'S THE ONLY LEFT. Back to back stressing h.w

A miserable professor. She grades using a checklist style cover page but fails to explain why she's marked you down for things. She almost always refused to give any feedback regarding assignments and sometimes even to questions raised in class. A very "my way or the highway" kind of professor as well. 0/10 Professor. You don't need the stress.

Prof. Cohn wasn't so bad, I just wouldn't take her again because her sarcasm sucks. She yells at you for coming late it could literally be for a minute and still. Her attitude is horrible. She grades pretty rough, but you do learn, if you try you'll pass, so just do your work.

Professor Cohn does not joke around. Take notes whenever she speaks. She gives great advice, and unless you reach out to her for help she won't help. Take notes, everything you need is in them. She is not mean at all. Her sarcasm will make your day, always. There is a lot of work to do, but suck it up. And don't miss class! Every class is important

THE worst professor I've ever had during my entire education. Rude, bitter, sarcastic, and doesn't care whether you get offended by it or not. Do NOT take this professor. I was a B student in English all of my life... and I just failed my first essay. The expectations are nearly impossible to reach. Needless to say, I dropped this class.

she yelled at me everyday for no reason, if your even late one minute she will fail you. Mostly everyone either failed her class or dropped out. Just do NOT take her even if she is the only professor teaching it. Also gave a lot of homework and I mean a lot.

Even though she is the toughest grader I have ever had. I really enjoy her class. Sometimes, I wish she would cut us a break, but I love her way of teaching. She gives you all the tools you need to write good papers, you just have to BE ON TIME and ACTUALLY SHOW UP in order to receive the lesson. Overall, she is a hard ass, but it is worth it.
