nice prof, but a little bit crazy sometimes. his readings are very old and hard to understand. before taking this course, ask someone who has a good history background to read all the stuff and tell you.

Rob Breton is a very helpful and enthusiastic teacher. I recommend him; he has a sly (somewhat bitter) sense of humor. I hated his texts but I really enjoyed his approach to them, he has a philosophical bent to his class.

My favorite prof this year and my favorite english prof thus far. He was fantastic and as for teaching a night class he made it interesting and kept me awake! He has an enjoyable sense of humour.Coming from a student who is not a huge literature buff he intrigued me. I came out with a B+.work hard!

Best Eng Prof I've ever had. Instead of lecturing you, he leads the most amazing discussions and starts you thinking along lines you've never considered before. He's understanding, too. Can learning actually be fun? In his class it can!

Great class, the books and poems we read were great and there was a lot of variety, Dr. Breton is very knowledgable and helpful, the best English prof I've had. His marking is fair and he encourages lots of discussion! Great prof.
