Comment:

Dr. Donnelly is an amazing professor! His lectures are entertaining and he is easy to identify with. MAT335 is a pretty easy class in general, but he made it extra easy to get a good grade! My only complaint is that sometimes he spends too much time on the theory behind everything. If you do your homework and study the notes, you'll be fine!

Oh my gosh! He is easily the best professor I've had. He's hilarious, nice and easy to talk to, while still being a GREAT teacher. I hated trig before this class. I would HIGHLY recommend Donnelly. It feels like he really wants everyone to do the best they can. Let's you ask questions during the tests, and will help you so much!

didn't put grades into canvas, i went into finals not knowing my grade. there is a quiz everyday but its only 1 or 2 questions on what was covered the class before and you can get help from people in the class. his test are made up of the quizzes and his final is made up of the test. 5 days to do homework and can do them till you get a 100

This is by far the best teacher I have ever had. His attendance is not required but there are incentives to coming, however if you do your homework and are good at math, since this is not difficult material, a B or C is easily attainable if you are like me and miss more than half the classes. Saved me. Just buy a MATHLAB code, no book.

He will work around your schedule to try to meet with you if you really need help. He gives tons of extra credit opportunities to make a good grade. Super sweet guy and great teacher.

Loved the class and I am not the greatest at math. He provided many example problems, allowed us to work with those around us on quizzes, and always answered questions well and directly. I wish I had more math classes to take so that I could have him as a professor again. Great class!

Take him. He is super nice, intelligent, helpful, and pretty easy. I wish I had to take more math classes just for him. He is pretty cute, in a nerdy way. He's the type of professor who you could really get along with as a person, not just a teacher. Talks to you, doesn't ever make you feel bad, etc. Easy, clear, very very helpful. Great guy.

Regular attendance is key because you have daily "quizzes" (5 points, you get 4/5 for a good attempt). Very clear instructor, especially if you took calculus in HS. Made me wish I needed more math for my major just so I can take him! Nerdy cute/giddy about calculus. Take him!

If you go to class it is an easy A! I also missed a few weeks because of a job oppurtunity and he worked with me and I didn't lose any credit.

The best math professor I have even had. He gives pop quizzes in class so attendance is necessary. You will learn if you take him for this course! Truly cares about the students and their learning. I now have a great understanding of Calculus I, and I am definitely going to take his classes again in the future.

This guy is my favorite professor this semester. He explains stuff really well, he gives alot of chances to get grades, and there's a quiz before every test as a review. If you have a problem he is willing to go out of his way to help you understand. I highly recommend him!

Comment:

Very nice teacher and as long as you pay attention, you will do good on the tests. There's a quiz before each test and if you ask nicely, he will let you work in groups at the end. Wants you to learn the material.
