I took this class almost 10 years ago and still remember it. Rob is an awesome professor! I found his class so interested and his teaching style so engaging that I decided to pursue psychology and now have a Masters and am a therapist. His class is totally worth taking. He is, hands down, one of the best professors at CSUC!

I took this class almost 10 years ago and still remember it. He is very engaging and has an awesome teaching style. It is because of this class that I decided to pursue a Masters in psychology and am now a therapist. Rob is a great professor and one of the best at CSUC. If you have a chance, TAKE HIS CLASS!

Great teacher, truly cares about his students and their "well being". I learned so much in this class and I can apply many things he taught to my everyday life. The only problem I had with this class was that the tests are extremely hard, in my opinion, you really have to know everything from lectures and the text books. Great professor though.

Howard is an awesome instructor! He gets back to you via email almost immediately. I had him for Winter Session (3 week course) and he gets papers back to you the next day. Shows very interesting videos. For some reason I was always stressed but then earned full credit or extra points. Working on his final paper right now, which is tough.

Professor Howard is great! His PH & V class is very interesting. He is a really nice guy and teaches the material in a clear way. Reading is mandatory because it WILL be on the test. Most of the reading is interesting though. I definetly recommend the class.

Professor Howard is awesome! He keeps the material interesting and very easy to follow if you attend class. The reading is not discussed during lecture time, but it is covered on the tests so don't fall behind. He is very concerned with student achievement, and extremely easy to talk to.

Comment:

Prejudice, Hate and Violence class was interesting. Watch a lot of movies and uses powerpoint, which makes it easy to follow and fairly entertaining. Reading is never discussed, but used heavily on tests. Papers are pretty easy and he will give extra points if you write well. He is too nice sometimes and lets people ramble about irrelevant things.

He's awesome! Yes, there are 2 short papers and 1 long one (7-9 pages) but you get to pick the topic. Study for the tests. They are harder than you might think because he is so laid back, so just study. This is one of those teachers that changes your views in a good way. PLus, he's hysterical!

The best professor I have ever had!Tests are fair and a little tough BUT he gives a FULL study guide way in advance. He is hilarious and makes each student feel heard. If you can't ace his class you are lazy because he pulls no tricks. He will tell you exactly what to expect on tests and papers.Howard rocks!

This guys awesome, i had him for psyc 391 of prejudice and hate and psyc 151 cultural psyc or sumthin... anyways he's probly my favorite teacher. He explains things in understandable ways, he is funny and nice. his tests are somewhat hard so you want to attend class and read the books, but you learn a lot so its worth it.

Comment:

Howard is definitely a cool professor. Very understanding, interesting, and funny at times. Tests are hard (READ YOUR BOOKS). The writing assignments are fairly difficult, but he grades them nice and easy. The class is interesting, so it's not too hard to listen to the lectures and read the books; and if you do that, you can pass this class.
