Rob is an excellent professor who truly wants to see his students succeed. He put a great deal of thought into his lesson plans and ensured that students had a deep understanding of the material. If there were areas needed for improvement, he was very detailed in explaining how to improve it. He is clearly passionate about what he does.

Rob is a considerate and approachable professor. Not only are his classes great to attend, his instructional plan and design are inspiring. He is encouraging and has helped many students take on challenging and overwhelming tasks and assignments. He is always available to help and responds to emails promptly.

If he likes you, you will have a better time of it. If he does not like you, then everything will be short answers, vague and you will never know exactly what he is looking for. Not very helpful or supportive. Minimal interaction with class, which is ironic due to the nature of the course.

Insightful instructor. Very 'in tune' with field knowledge (great program developer), with the ability to project this knowledge (and passion) within students who are serious about their studies. An overall great guy, wise but well grounded. Very 'real', which helps students to relate to him as both a professional and as a person.
