If you took econ in HS this should be an easy A for you... then again econ came naturally to me in HS(5 on the AP without trying in class)SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE TOLD ME HE WAS THE PROF TO TAKE. I concur. Easiest As I ever had in any of my 90 units at OCC. Sad he retired. Those who say otherwise might be that bright...

He was a nice guy but his lectures were sooooooo boring! i say in the front and felt bad because i kept falling asleep. pretty okay class though, do the study guides and just study those for the test and you should be fine! also LOVE THAT HE CURVES THE CLASS!

As a child did you ever watch the Snoopy cartoon. This professor's lectures sound exactly like the adults voices. Wah Wah Wah Wah Wah Wah. You can see what he is writing but you cannot comprehend a thing. All he does is write notes and you copy. This class is very hard to get interested in and is not easy with such a boring professor.

Dull angry instructor. He'll put pressure and yell at you when you come to his office because he expect you to know everything before you come o_O. Boring sleepy lecture. Super hard tricky tests. HOWEVER, he super curve his grading scale: B=A C=B D=C. You'll pass his class but won't learn craps. Be sure do all HW well & study Supplement for test.

I read all the comments about him before taking his class and i thought "yeah i guess if i read the supplements and take notes in his class, i'll do fine." The best thing to do in this class is read the book. got to really understand the material otherwise you're as lost as a FOB in LA.

This prof. should retire, he is not even suppose to be consider as a prof. he is really dumb.. I don't even know how this person could teach in a school. I really hope the school board fired him soon. he is just such a disgrace and a useless and a killer teacher that is not needed in the modern world. all he do is nothing and collect his pay check.

i hope that if you choose his class, you read all the precautions on ratemyprofessor. he's very knowledge-able with what he's teaching, but dang is he horrible at making you understand. he's somewhat monotone so it's sometimes hard to stay awake. i advise to NEVER be late when you have to turn in your problem. he'll take points off. good luck!

He is an easy and nice prof. His exams are not; they are difficult. Remember to study his suplements before the exam; it really helps. Do all problem sets; the answers come from supplement also. He grades on a curve which helps a lot. Overall, fair class.

He really knows his stuff and tries to give students not only the information but a understanding of how and why things are the way they are. He is not easy but he does grade on a pretty forgiving curve. If you are looking for an easy class do not take him.

Very passionate about the subject. Although this class isn't interesting. This class is difficult if you don't study. Grading scale is weird, sort of like on a curve but better. Do all the problem sets and show up to class. You will fall behind if you don't attend. Exams are hard. Don't take him, if you plan to slack off.

Nice guy. He gave me an A-I had a low B(I got As on the tests but did almost no coursework). He took a bit of a personal interest in me. I will admit I fell asleep in his class a lot, told him it was from working night shifts heh(I was)I took AP micro econ in highschool and passed the AP. Most of econ180 is common sense. Also econ is my major.

not a bad teacher. he is very nice and willing to clarify anything u dont understand. he mumbles a lot but usually what hes mumbling is insignificant anyway. do the work and youll get an A. overall, hes a good teacher. =)
