This class is a joke but I think the instructor makes it that way. There are 4 test, upwards of 10 quizzes, a presentation and paper. He didn't go over the paper or presentation until asked two weeks before their due dates. I would NOT recommend this instructor. I should have driven to Cocoa for Charlie Viggiano.

Overall average professor some of his tests are hard, out of the book and powerpoints but if he sees the class is not doing so great his tests get easier, gives you a extra credit for attending all classes, and team project is relatively easy, he is the best choice for Man 4600 if you want an easy class compared to the other professors teaching it

Don't take him for the cornerstone lab! He will tell you something is due that day that wasn't even on the syllabus, and then grade ridiculously. Our team was the first team to reach our goal and finish our project, and we still didn't get an A because of semantics. You don't even get graded on the project- it is all based on the paperwork!

Take him for Cornerstone Lab. He is very easy. Just a bunch of pointless presentations and unless you screw up the paper work somehow, you get full credit. You only get 1 absence a semester so attendance is mandatory.

I never bother to write on these things, but he is such a useless teacher. Every class there is a quiz, and a short lecture right out of the book. You could ask him a question and he would echo it back to you. Clueless!! Doesnt help at all! If your not annoyed by a teacher not teaching, hes overall pretty easy. Classes are mostly discussion with a quiz during each on the material. Exams based on quizzes. Laid back and seems to care about students learning and so will cut breaks when there is lots of participation. Learned more through real discussion and debate in this course than by rote in any other. Recommend.

Mr B is really not that difficult. He tells you exactly what you need to do from the beginning. There are 2 presentations, the paper, 8 quizzes and a final that count towards your grade. Show up to class and keep the quizzes for the final. He is boring, so bring a laptop to surf the web.

I had this professor for Capstone Lab and not only was he a tough grader (all you have is 2 presentations and exams in this course) but he was rude whenever you tried to question your grade. Other lab teachers were fair graders, not this one.

Comment:

Boettcher isn't as bad as everyone makes him out to be. My cornerstone group had a very difficult client and a forever-changing project, but Professor Boettcher was very supportive and helpful. This is cornerstone and not designed to be easy, but Boettcher doesn't grade too difficult and he's always constructive. Good teacher.

First of all the class is super boring to begin with and he made it worst if possible. He just reads p.p. to you no need to go to class. His last test was way harder than first two, and the whole class was unprepared for it, and the grades reflected. Don't take him, worst teacher at UCF, I'm surprised he had a job in private sector.

He is terrible as a prof. Just reads p.p. off the screen during class and shows movies unrelated to topics. The last test(final) was so long and he made it so hard in comparison to the first two. Homework is useless. In conclusion does not teach a thing. Ohh he is hard of hearing so don't ask questions out loud if you are not close to him.

No point in going to lecture; he just repeats the book. This is a BS class and REALLY easy. You pass with one hand tied behind your back. Easy A but another in a long line of completely mediocre UCF professors (Jeff Allen, Nicole Howatt, Axel Stock, etc etc)
