The class is very laid back. Contrary to the other comment he seemed to me very open and even interested in all views. The class atmosphere is laid back. He does spend a lot of time telling stories, sometimes interesing, but sometimes a bore.

He's so one-sided that he'll chew you out and make you feel like an idiot if you simply don't agree with him. He's such a big advocat of free speech, yet you cannot think for youself in that class. I don't recommend him, and no, he is NOT funny.

Great person and professor! His door is always open for his students. Loves his job which makes class time fly by. He teaches more than speech in his classroom he teaches how to appreciate life. He causes his students think about things more deeply.

He is a little long winded - telling stories between each speech - causes each speech assignment to take forever. I enjoyed his stories; they made the class interesting. He was very understanding when I got bronchitis, and gave me an extension.
