A fantastic professor. Easy to understand, and he outlines everything quite clearly. He does grade hard on the speeches, but the less you memorize the better you'll do (advice I, and a few others, didn't heed when Mr. B told us). Isn't very elastic about rules or assignments, but is understanding of the anxiety when giving a speech. Tests r easy.

Must go to EVERY class, attendance graded heavily! Great teacher, always on top of what is going on. makes a really hard subject comfortable and easy to do speeches in front of the class. Enjoyed his class and would definitely recommend all students needing sp1 to his class!

Is an alright teacher, but I have heard from friends that there are better speech proffesors at Saddleback. Class is attendence, quiz, midterm, and 3 speechs (how-to, informative, and persuassive). Tells you exactly what needs to be done to do well, but speechs are the majority of the grade.

3 speeches and you're done. I hate standing infront of people but you'll get over that quick. All you need is a 2GB SD Card for your speeches and the packet in the bookstore for the class no book dont buy it. Bornemann is a great proff. great class, I recommend taking him!!

Great teacher! just show up listen to what he says. no textbook just a packet thats $10. he gives a midterm only and 3 speeches of your choice. on one of them you can turn in early and redo it for higher score.he gives extra credit. he really is nice. please take this teacher over any other speech professor. i hate school but he made it easy for me

Bornemann is a really cool guy. Makes jokes here and there and overall makes the class enjoyable. However, you cannot get away with procrastinating in a speech class. Be diligent with the outlines and practicing and you'll do fine.

Obviously nobody wants to take speech, but this teacher madde it fun! He makes you feel relaxed and gives you plenty of time to prepare. He is soooo funny too! Best speech professor. Take him if you have to take a speech class! I got an A and it was easy!

Bornemann is awesome. First off, you don't have to really buy a book..just his packet in the bookstore for $5. He wants to you be to class because you can't know what is going on without attending. He makes it entertaining and you don't feel as much pressure. Take him. End of story.

He's really nice and tries to make each class entertaining. I'm terrified of speaking infront of people but he made the experience alot easier. Lets you use notes cards to read from but video tapes your speeches for your knowledge. No one else sees the video except you. Only has 2 quizzes and 4 speechs. Take him if you want an easy A
