He was a very nicnem Professor. He is my advisor for my major and he is an awsome person to talk to. He is passionate about his work and knows what he is talking about. His textbook is free and online so that is a plus! His textbook is easy to read and understand. LOVE HIS ONLINE CLASS!!!

Botsch was okay. For some reason I thought this class would be on current political issues. It's all about the history of politics. His favorite person is Machiavelli so always mention him when possible. There's no book to buy because he made it and put it online. The only time I read it was when I made my study guide for the test.

Even if you don't like politics, he will make you become interested in them. Awesome professor. Book is online so it saves you money and it isn't a difficult textbook; it's written in conversational style. Rewarded instead of punished for attendance, just make sure you read every chapter for the blackboard tests and weekly article/current event.

Professor Botsch's entire life revolves around current news and political events, thus making him a wonderful government professor. His explanations were thorough, tests were easy (if you read the text that Botsch wrote himself), and he is an overall cheerful guy.

The BEST! He's the guy you came to college for. He challenges you, is interesting and entertaining, and has a sincere interest in the welfare and edification of all students. Will sacrifice and place himself on the line for students in myriad and very personal ways. He's humble and walks the walk. Truly, not just a great prof, but a great person.

Took his online course. TONS of work. Midterm and Exams are hard. Obviously everything is open book but it doesn't mean it was easy. I didn't really enjoy the online class. Never met the guy in person so I don't know really know him other than what was said in emails. Even though the class was hard I still made an A. Good Luck with this one.

Whether you're a PoliSci major or not, Take his class! There is daily work but it only takes 15 min. Gives really good reviews before the test. He keeps lectures interesting and well organized. We had 5 in-class activities that were enjoyable and helped us learn.
