Comment:

Don't skip class with it being only once a week. Hes really helpful and easy going. If you need help he'll try inside and outside of class. Participation is in form of homework assignments during class. There are a few group projects and they are hard if your group/table doesn't communicate. If there is a problem with this, he'll deal with it!

Comment:

Really good professor. Took an online class recently. He gives you plenty of time to do the work which is only the biweekly quizes and labs. Gives plenty of extra credit. Just read the book and his outlines and you'll be fine. If you have questions he answers back really quickly. Syllabus tells you ahead of time what to do. Drops lowest quiz/lab.

Great Professor, grades rather quickly. Took On-line class last semester, gives you plenty of time to do lab work also you are able to earn extra credit. Gets back to you immediately if you have a question. A lot of reading, you need to read to understand the material. Syllabus is clear and to the point.

I had him for this class once a week for almost 4 hours but during those 4 hours i was never bored. He made the class enjoyable and made time fly. He always helped students when they needed it and take his time to make sure you understood the topic. He even would let us go early is he wanted which was great but it was rare being a once a week clas

If your going to read any comment about Bristow, read this one. He is one of the best professors at this school. He is hilarious if you understand humor and sarcasm. I've taken three classes with him and i would recommend his Recreation Geography course the most out of the three.

I took physical geography during winter session to fulfill my science lab core. One of the easiest classes, he doesn't make you do unnecessary busy work and though he is laid back, you can tell he knows his stuff. I had no particular interest in the subject before hand, but surprisingly ended up liking the class a lot. Def a no-nonsense class!

No matter how awake I was before this class, I would always become extremely sleepy after listening to him. His voice is somewhat boring. He always tries to crack jokes that no one finds funny. I thought I had a C or worse in his class but ended up with an A, can't complain but I was stressing over nothing. He never had grades until the end.

A kooky (in a good way) professor. You'll see the most bizarre, obscure movies if you take his GIS class. I suspect he's bored teaching knuckleheaded undergrads but he's a generous grader. Stick it out, you'll pass.
