Overall pretty great professor with entertaining lectures, but you are only graded on a few tests. Although attendance is not mandatory by the professor you will not do well if you do not attend.

Hilarious and weird at the same time in a good way, however he takes the class materials very seriously. No graded homework and 4 exams in total, no 'final'. Also, don't use your phone in class, trust me

His class is funny. He always has jokes that actually make you laugh. Your grade is based on 4 tests, and he wouldn't drop your lowest grade. But he always asks in class if you have any questions, and he explains very well. So, go to class, and ask questions, and you will pass this class with a high grade.

Rob is the best. He makes lecture entertaining with his humor, but he also does a great job of covering the material and will answer any questions. He gives homework (that I suggest you do because it helps with tests) and practice tests which he goes over to help for actual tests (which aren't too difficult). I highly recommend him. Rob is the GOAT

Rob is the best teacher I have had throughout my acedemic career. He makes material very easy to understand and his proccess for the class is very nice. He gives very little homeowrk and it is not mandaory but I highyly rcommend you do it. His test are very straight forward and homework based. He is the best teacher at UB and a great guy.

Professor Busch is absolutely one of my all time favorite professors; he explains the material in the simplest way possible and is easy to follow. He hands out practice/past exams a week or two before every exam and makes sure to go over them and the tests are not far much different. The text books give excellent practice problems similar to test

Rob Busch is very funny and gives amazing lectures. However you are only graded by 4 tests, and his grading criteria is not very clear. He is willing to help, and his lectures are more practical than theoretical. That said he can be sarcastic and occasionally rude. Be prepared to do a lot of work outside class if you want to do well.

Real easy-going, down-to-earth professor. Made topics very clear. Homeworks aren't graded but keep up on them anyways. Grade is dependent on 4 exams so I wouldn't recommend him if you're a bad test-taker. His 9 am classes were worth getting up early for.

Teaches relatively well. However, there are no graded homeworks or quizzes. Your grade is solely based on 4 exam scores which I is why I would not personally take him again. A real character. Class is always entertaining. If you're a good test taker you will do fine. The hardest class I've taken. Just pass the class and get out of there.

Rob was overall a good professor, not a great one. It seemed like he was more concerned with making jokes than teaching the material. The lectures seemed very disjointed, as he would sometimes take 5 minute breaks just to tell a joke or story. Also, he would talk during tests which made it very hard to focus. However, he did care for his students.

Rob is one of the best professors. His lectures are so fun that you just don't want to skip class. Attendance and homework not mandatory. If you show up to the class and do the hw, you will surely do well on his exams. Your final grade is based on 4 exams that you take throughout the semester and those exams are fairly easy. He is a legend.

Comment:

I enjoyed taking Rob's class, however, beware of a few things. First, unless you know the material, attending class is a must or you will be completely lost. Second, he does not use UBlearns or recorded lectures. Lastly, test are 100% of your grade. If you attend class and pay attention, you will do fine. Rob is hilarious and a great person.
