Robert Chee-Mooke was my absolute favorite prof in college. I learned more in his philosophy class than I did my entire 4 years. His accent was not difficult for me to deal with and he is very passionate about his subject. We ended up presenting a paper together at a writer's conference and I was proud to do so. Simply the best!

Comment:

First off, he knows what he is talking about. Second off, we don't know what he is talking about (deep accent). His class is not hard. Gives almost as much extra credit as regular grades. If you want an interesting and easy class, get a few friends and sign up!

Extremely difficult to understand a lot of what he says and just as hard to follow. Just about everything you cover you'll have to teach yourself through the book. He gives "surprise parties," which are pop quizzes that count as extra credit. Lets out early/cancels class often. Don't recommend him due to the difficulty in understanding him.

Very deep guy. Knows his stuff, but is not great at getting it across. The assignments are easy though so it doesn't matter. Has a lot of interesting stuff to say. He's entertaining as all hell too.

He is brillant man. The people who wrote unappealing things about him are too ignorant to understand his teaching style. I found his course to be interesting and worthwhile.If they have trouble understaning him, they should try not sleeping in class.
