Prof. David is one of the best profs I've had at McGill. He is really intelligent, kind and interesting. You HAVE to do the readings, and participating regularly will go a long way. Tough grader, but his assignments teach you a lot. Would definitely recommend him!

Class was interesting, and the discussions + readings were good (even when they were long, DO THEM). Grading is generally arbitrary & he's poor at setting expectations/giving clear feedback. Work load wasn't too intense though, and I took a lot away from the course. Don't forget to participate!

This is a great class which provides you with a good understanding of current world issues. The format was the following: you read, class discussion, group presentation(each class). It was a really interactive class. The prof was good but demanding, be aware.

This was his first time teaching MGCR360 (Social Context of Business). He gave SO many readings and would try to justify 100 pages of reading for one class (this wasn't all the time but happened quite a bit). Attendance and participation worth 20%, two short essays 10% each, two group facilitations 10% each, one final paper 40% (no final exam).

Hands down the best class and the best prof I have ever had in McGill, the only reason he's not rated 5 stars is because he can be a harsh grader. However his lectures are amazing, the assigned readings changed my vision of the world and inspired me in so many ways. Robert David is also a very nice person. Would recommend this class to anyone 10/10

David is the best prof ever! He is organized, has updated cases, interesting, and very knowledgeable. He isn't an easy marker, but if you work hard, you can get an A-. Btw, you should participate in every class. It seems that after each class, he writes who participated in a useful way, and takes note of the students who bothered the class.

Omg, are u ppl crazy? He makes the class much harder than it should to be. How can you study strategy? It is suppose to be innovative and to be innovative means not to copy what someone else has done. Did Bill Gates study OP? Studying strategy is pointless. Work hard buddy? We're in management, chil

Before having this prof I had lost all faith in all management courses. He was clear, very knowledgeable and helpful when you asked. If you work hard and have a genuine interest in the material (which isn't hard since the cases he assigns are very interesting), you will do well. Just great!

Finally, a Prof that makes me feel like I'm at university--this is what university is supposed to be like--demanding, challenging and clear. One of the best profs at McGill. If you're lazy, stay away...from McGill and his classes

Are you people on crack! Who said he was hot. Well, I think he is a smart man but he is an anal marker. He made the course as intresting as it could get, personally not my thing. If you like to blabber in class then you have a chance of getting a decent grade...otherwise do not take him.

I think he gave out 4 A's in all three sections. Really tough professor, but he definitely knows his stuff; he is from Cornell. You have to participate like krazy and do a decent project. It was almost the most work I've done to get an A-. Kinda like MHR and S. Context. Management core rocks :)!!

He is a very VERY hard marker. His classes are very organized, and he is very prepared. We do tons of case studies. He is a good teacher, and smart (PhD from Cornell, I believe). But you had better pay attention to specifics in the class, because the exams are killer.

Horrible experience ! If you don't participate like crazy, you cannot get a decent grade. If he likes you from the first class, then you are set. He's probably the hardest marker out there. Too much work for a core course.
