He's completely obsessed with himself but for good reason because he's a brilliant man. He tells senseless stories and goes off topic all the time. You don't need to go to class, just read the book.

Although its mandatory attendance you dont get points against you if you dont go. I never went to class and did fine , but it is extremely important to read the book cover to cover. All his questions are straight from the bold words.

Go to class and def read ahead before the lecture. His stories do tie into questions on the exams. If you have an 95% or higher and never missed a class on the last day of class he will approach you and tell you the final is optional for you!!!

Boring lectures are straight from the text. Lots of reading + attendance everyday. There will be an exam on the withdrawal day; you can only see how desperate he is. He will say whatever it takes to keep you in class, but you can only know what he is really thinking when you have the grade. I don’t recommend him to any of you unless you are a glutt

Easiest Teacher for Multinat. Bus. You NEVER need to be in class except on test days. Attendance is taken but only 4 very small ex. credit at the end.. Test = multiple choice + memorize 5-7 definitions he gives you on handout. Read Book + Handout and you will definately get a B. Class is OK but he just reads out of the book.

His class in not too hard. He gives "Difficulty Level Adjustments" (curves) on his exams and gives you the answers for 25% of the test verbatim. Also, his final is 50% old test questions and 25% written questions he gives you the answers to. Really nice guy and always willing to talk to you. I would recommend him to anyone.

One of the worse professors I have ever had. Very narcissistic and frequently condescends other students and contemporaries. Not difficult, but put in time to read the book. Avoid him if you can. If you can’t, that’s all right, he isn’t impossible to pass. Just make sure you have the patience to hear his babble. VERY PICKY ABOUT SPELLING.

this class is so easy. talks about himself at least 15 min out of every class. He practically reads from the book, so there is really no need to go to class. tests are fair... as long as you memorize word for word the handout he gives you and read the book.

Overall great guy. A blast to listen to and has tons of random knowledge that most people wouldn't even consider. First test is easy. After that you really have to pay attention to what he says in class and some minute details in the text reading. I find that going to class is a big help to see what points he emphasizes.

Dr. Doherty is the nicest most compassionate teacher! He was like my grandfather . He was very understanding and helpful and I was sad to see that I would not have him as a teacher again. I would reccomend him to anyone !!!!
