Class exams are easy pretty much identical every semester , lab exams are tough but the paper is easy ! Not a terrible guy just a draw course hard to have enjoyment learning and teaching. literally have to go to zero lectures he will tell u that the first day of classes.

Very terrible prof. He had no desire to be there and didn't try to conceal it. First day of classes he told us not to bother taking notes in his class and not to bother printing off his online notes. It was almost as if he didn't want anyone to show up! Tests were difficult because they were multiple choice TF statements.

Perhaps the most useless prof I have EVER had. I had him for verts back in 1997 and he created a final exam with all multiple choice. Get this: If you got the answer right u got ur mark, if you got it wrong, u would get 1.25 taken AWAY from ur mark. You could get a negative score on the test!" I cant make it too easy".Nice man,terrible teacher

Dunbrack seems like a half decent guy but a pretty useless prof, didn't seem like he had any desire to be there at all. Not an easy course, requires A LOT of studying but definitely not something you should be scared of. Tests are all MC but questions are T/F statements.

He's a very nice, strange little man but he turns the lights off in a 9am class- bad idea (very, very boring). I went to maybe 5 classes. You learn everything from the lab. It is NOT a difficult course if you are devoted to studying/memorizing the tree of life and you keep yourself organized with your lab notebook. Midterm was semi easy, exam=HARD

I had him for 2210 and 4360. Verts is can be difficult if you don't study but the material is good same with 4360. Overall Dunbrack was very helpful and I enjoyed his lectures!

This course is quite hard and is not recommended unless you HAVE to take it. He is really boring, and rambles aimlessly. The labs are a lot of work and the material is dry. He can also be very rude when you email him questions.

It seems that he has changed a bit since last year. The class notes were very disorganized and sometimes he didn't even know what they meant. It was hard to pick out what was important. He was terribly dull and hardly ever looked up. It seemed that he had no interest in being there. Unless you have background in biology, do not take this course.

I'm not sure anyone could have made this course interesting so I don't really blame him for that. He's more than fair when it comes to the midterm/final, they are marked up a lot and if you get over 100% he lets you keep the extra marks. Yeah the m/c are tricky but if you know you're stuff you'll be okay...especially with the marking up.

This man is a JOKE. He is a horrible prof, I almost had to stop going to class to avoid headaches from the constant zooming of the overheads. I had a B going into the final, however, im not sure how I will do after. His tests are CRAZY, they aren't 25 or 50 MC, they are 100 or 200 T/F questions. IE. The course makes you feel Violated!
