I feel like Bob might be better at Phys10 than 1C. He talked rather quietly and went off on a tangent or confused himself a lot. He taught the theory most of the quarter but it was out of the book and applying formulas. The class was pretty easy but it was hard studying for the midterms since those are the only tests he gave. Helpful but unclear

This was a very interesting course. Bob was very helpful and as long as you are paying attention you will do well. He is a little soft-spoken so I recommend sitting in the first couple rows in class. The homework was all review. I did maybe 15% of my homework and got an A; all important concepts are covered in class.

I feel the point of this class is to introduce you to physics, Bob does a great job at that. If you have already taken physics, then no sh!t its gonna be boring. If you don't know anything about physics, it will help you appreciate it. One word of advice, www.cramster.com. All you need to pass this class.

This teacher is cool. He is very approachable during lab. If you have a question, he is ready to help you with your experiment. I definitely recommend taking physics with this instructor.

He's a quiet & fast talker, sit in front row if you want to hear what he's saying. Provides lots of detail for even very simple concepts so class can seem to drag on. If you're comfortable with the material, this class won't take much effort. I skipped several weeks, hardly opened the book and got an A. He grades on a very generous curve.

Hard to hear what he said. hard exams on 2C. I do not know how he is on other physic class, but he is hard on 2C. No relation between homework and exam. I like physics, but, after his class, I lose my way to success.

Very hard to hear. Lectures contain a lot of math equations that you don't use. Lectures are boring. Very easy exams - just show up for the review, which is all the answers to the homework problems. Tests are based on the homework problems. A really nice guy, but didn't really learn much about physics.

Extremely easy. But you won't learn a thing. I got a B in the class because I screwed up a midterm real bad. But overall, if you go through the suggested homework (which is not mandatory), you should breeze through your exams. But his voice is real low and makes lectures real boring.

Great teacher, I didn't even buy the book and aced the class. If math is easy for you just show up to lecture and absorb it all. For those that don't pick it up he asks after every new idea is covered if everyone is 'cool' before he moves on.

VERY Easy class if you read the textbook then easy A. But his class is boring because all he does is teach and teach (easy concepts). So that is useless to me because I already took 4D in Taiwan already. @_@ He never calls names so I skip lots of classes. m.. that's it.

i dont even know what word is suitable in this case..he's nice, really nice, he's alway avaible if u need help, and he'd spend so much time to help you out, things is, his lecture just suck...his way of teaching doesnt make sense, i had a hard time stayed up, his quizes & test is repetitive & comprehensive, you need to be prepare to study by yourse

A wonderful teacher with a lot of patience. He's very helpful to his students and he has a passion for physics. His tests aren't hard if you follow him on his lectures. I highly recommend taking him.

This guy in pretty easy in lab, and very helpful. I don't know if I would want him for lecture in any 4- series class though. I know A's are all that matter for to most people for transferring, but honestly, do you really want to get your ass handed to you by Newton the quarter, because you didn't learn enough. They how will you transfer?!
