The man was a legend at Washington College. He was a walking encyclopedia of history. If you were a history buff you wanted to be in his class. While is lectures could be a bit dry at times you never knew where they would lead. He would often laugh at his own jokes. I really enjoyed all the classes I took with him and learned a great deal!

Ihad Professor Fallaw when i was a freshman in fall of 1990. The guy had already been there since the mid 1960's. I thought his lectures were a bit dry, but he knew his stuff. If you took notes and listened to him, you would do well on all of the tests. He told us a story about attending an Iron Butterfly Concert at WAC."it took me 2 weeks 2 recove

Great proffessor who was just relaxed and slower spoken / soft spoken with his rumpled appearance. He could really tell you a lot of information and make it interesting. I loved his class and don't think I ever skipped it. Heard some great stories about him and thoroughly enjoyed his class and was challenged by his tests and writing assignments. Still managed to do well though! I wish him luck in his retirement!

Fallaw is a really nice teacher, and really does know his stuff. I'll admit I skip his class/walk out of it a lot, but only because I can't stay awake otherwise. He cares about what he is teaching, and I get a kick out of his history jokes. I'll miss him next year.

Fallaw, when it comes down to it is a nice guy. Sure, his class is as boring as you know what, but he knows his history. I think that he is a v. dedicated teacher and if you make the effort (even a little one) he notices and takes it into account.
