Comment:
Professor Frey is not as bad as these people are saying. He cares about his students and will explain things in a different way if you don't understand. Papers are not intense for a SWS. He does change due dates a lot throughout the semester but just listen during class and you'll keep up.

Professor Frey is very intelligent with lots of experience, but he is very old and should not be teaching anymore. Class is just extremely slow and a waste of time. I only go because he takes attendance.

Frey has great experience in the real world. That's it. He's unorganized, an unreasonable grader, and offers little to no explanation for why he marked things down. Normally an A student, but got a C in the class. Doesn't deserve tenure, time to retire.

Frey doesn't know how to use a computer, and is incredibly unclear about assignments and their due dates. We often spent more time trying to help him figure out attendance and opening a PowerPoint than actually learning the material he tested us on (unfairly). Avoid at all costs.

Here's the thing. He's a great guy, but he's a horrible professor. He doesn't know how to use the computers. He expects word for word definitions on tests. Tests are absolutely long and terrible. Get ready to explain to him that PDF documents arent PP slides. And be prepared to have the syllabus changed 100 times during the semester.

There are about 5 group presentations you are responsible for throughout the semester as well as 1 test per month, 2 exams, 3 papers and 2 extra credit activities outside of class that don't actually count for extra credit but hurt your grade if you don't do them. Constantly changing assignments and due dates the entire semester. Avoid if possible.

Very unorganized. Constantly is changing due dates. Told our group different page numbers for our case presentation and told us different days that we have to present. Time to retire.

Tough class, and tough grader, but very fair professor. I thought the amount of papers and presentations were excessive, but it's doable.

Frey has really great experience that I wanted to hear more about. Unfortunately, my class did not allow that. I found it ridiculous because Frey is probably one of the most clear (and inspirational) professors I've ever had. I wish more professors at GV had his conversational lecture tone & he likes to hear feedback if your willing to share it!

He is hard of hearing, so speak up. He is a great guy and provides personal information and is so willing to help students out when they need it, whether it is school related or not!

Will rewrite class/assignment schedule multiple times. Very unclear on due dates. Difficult to know what is expected on essays. Pop quizzes may or may not relate to material discussed. Take approx. 2 months to grade papers and exams. Does not follow book well or any real timeline. Seems to be very subjective on his part.

Professor Frey means well but does not follow through. It took him 25min of a 50 min class to turn the computer on and get his powerpoints up. Pop Quizzes do not cover material talked about. Hard exams. Confusing Grading requirements. I do not know how I received an A- maybe out of pity.

If you're taking a class of his as an elective, I would suggest a different teacher. There is a lot of reading to do, group projectspresentations, and pop quizzes on the material. He also is not very timely. We got our midterm grades back 2 weeks before the end of the semester. I wouldn't recommend him.

Challenging tests. He uses lots of fill in the blank. I actually really like his teaching style, he's chill and tells good stories about his experience. He's a very accomplished man who genuinely wants to influence the students. He was unorganized, but he mad up for it by grading easily and offering extra credits. Taking him again next semester.

He is a great guy, but not a very good professor. He is knowledgable, but extremely unorganized. Blackboard is an abyss. Multiple assignments have been pushed back, leaving 2 exams, 3 quizzes, a team project, and a book report the last month. Very unclear when it comes to material on exams and quizzes. Offers XC and curves. Might be time to retire.

Loved this professor! He really stressed critical thinking and this helped me in all classes. Very knowledgeable and experienced in international business, and genuinely want students to learn. Really enjoyed this class and recommend everyone to take it with Frey

Trys to run his classroom like a business conference room, but is very experienced and knowledgable. Learned a lot from him. Too many team presentations (4 or 5) on articles and cases. Tests are a little difficult for it being ethics. Attending class would be beneficial

Takes a while to warm up to, but in the end his intentions are good. DON'T buy the books, he puts them all in the library for you. Class is kinda boring (it's ethics), but always lets you out on time and even early often times. Get on his good side from the first day and you should receive an A. Probably should retire soon, but good guy overall!

Where do I begin.. Most unorganized class ever, he is constantly changing due dates and when to expect presentations or readings to be done by. The class is supposed to be about diversity but you could put all the times we've actually talked about diversity into just one week, I feel like I'm in an ethics class. Severely behind schedule constantly

He knows his material but class is him lecturing at you, not a two-way street. He claims to be on time and organized but he is the complete opposite. He is a nice guy but he needs to retire.
