Dr. Gates was a great professor! There was 75 students in my class, and by the third week he knew everyones name. He's very monotone, but his midterm and final is very easy. As long as you show up for class, you are golden. Definitely helpful and a great person!

Dr. Gates is one of the best professors I've had at Bloom. I learned so much throughout the semester and loved going to class. He lectures half the class and you have the powerpoints in front of you. Then the other half you doing group discussion, listening to grad. presentations, or listening to great guest speakers. i'd take any class with him.

An easy "A", however, I think it is due to truly absorbing the interesting material. He has made me an excellent teacher -strong in classroom management. Probably the best teacher I had at Bloom. A genuinely nice guy. Tells stories from his days as a principle and teacher, really helps to hear actual stories from a teacher whose been there. Class was easy. Would recommend to anyone.
