Had him at 8AM MWF and i really didn't mind being there at all. Had to read one book which was pretty easy. Made us do a chapter summary that was easy as hell. I wish he taught 1000C cause i would take it in a heart beat. Has a few small papers here and there like 1 page. His quizzes are jokes no studying needed. Take his class

He is the funniest and the best professor i had so far. Keeps everything interesting and before exams, he will review everything on it so you have to just pay attention to get a good grade. He grades good, adds a curve to his tests based on the highest grade in the class and he gives a essay as a bonus point for the test. THERE IS NO WAY TO FAIL!!

Doesn't take attendance, wont learn names, but really nice nonetheless. Lots of little easy quizzes with one term paper, OK grader, not easy not hard, you can get a C in there doing no work, putting in a little more work will like guarentee you a higher grade.

He's really funny, and you basically dont even have to go to his class- but he is one strriicctt grader on papers. If your a really good writer. with like flawless grammar take him (if not...) You will have a a couple short papers but your term paper is 7-10 pages on a decade.. your term paper dtermined your grade. extra credit help i alot DO IT!

I have never seen Dr. Gates in a bad mood. His classes are very lively and he makes you understand Literature. He is a fair grader, you have to work VERY hard for an A. There's no easy A, but it is worth it. He gives make up and drops the lowest grade. TAKE HIM if you are in university to be challenged if not...He is not your man!!

Real funny guy.. Doesnt take attendance but still is good if you go and learn a few things about english and also you get to hear his crazy stories... His grading is a bit hard regarding your writing.. But with the quizzes and paper He helps you get a better grade than you would expect.

He is one of the FUNNIEST teachers, Show up and take notes, and you're guaranteed an A. You only have to take 4 out of 5 quizzes, which means you can skip the final. The quizzes are about 25 mc and an optional essay. One speech. He'll never know who you are, but he's fun to watch.
