Comment:
Gundersen is completely incoherent in his lectures; Showing up to class will only make you more confused. His lecture slides never appear to be in any particular order. The only reason that I show up to class is because attendance is mandatory.

Only reason I go to class is so i don't miss one of his two extra credit opportunities which is just signing in that you were there. Homework is based on you tried the problems, power points are often out of order, but he does make it clear what to expect to be on the test and has study questions and review days. He gets ahead of himself a lot.

Very clear about what you need to know for examinations. He teaches along with the book which makes it a valuable tool. If you do work it is very easy to get a good grade in this class. Very helpful and communicative outside of class.

Class is not worth going to because you'll just get more confused. He's not any more clear one-on-one in office hours. The book is really good, so I taught myself by doing the practice problems. Buy the student study guide.

This instructor was not up to the task teaching, which seems to be a side-line for him. Poor communicator, and no teaching skills. Lots of excuses for why course was sub-standard, but he knew these things going in and did nothing to correct problems. Do not recommend taking his classes.

Prof was not prepared for lectures. Very confusing lectures, disorganized. Most students did very poorly and was frustrated, but he passed us anyway. Nice man, but poor communication skills.
