The best class of my Semester. Well prepared lectures helped me understand the difficult reading materials. If you are interested in philosophy or law Hull's your Prof. The review sessions are great and the class dialogues are thought provoking. Essence of the liberal arts college experience.

Expects too much for a freshman level course. Readings are hard and almost impossible to understand without going to class. He will help you but you have to go out of your way to get the help. He will tell you exactly what's on the test during his review sessions, GO TO THEM.

Dr. Hull is a great asset to Wesleyan. He forms great relationships with his students, and is always ready to help a struggling student. The tests are good measurements of whether you read or not, so don't think you can fool Hull. If you read, study, take notes, study some more, you will get an A.

His lectures stimulate and engage the students into the philosophical question of the day. It gets more interesting as the semester progresses. He is the most accessible professor on campus, and will answer any questions. His tests are simple (objective w/an essay). Sometimes T/F is ambiguous.
