Professor Innis is a great prof. He's a fair grader, issues 3 papers. Read the books and show up to class. As long as you understand the material and what is being said in class, you'll be fine. He will answer any questions about the papers and clarify anything. Course is somewhat dry, philo isn't my top interest though.

Amazing Prof, gives great examples in his class, ways of knowing. Take good notes, cuz you can use his notes to write the papers (3 papers, no exam at all).He goes thru 3 books, i didnt rea all, but got the concept from his teaching. Wrote my papers using notes. VERYY EASY if your just stick to taking good notes(I recorded)and coming to class.

Professor Innis is a true gift. You can tell he has dedicated a lifetime to developing the unique courses he teaches. If you take a class w/Innis and are not driven to deeply search your soul and self-reflect then blood does not flow through your viens. Brings such care and decency to the important material he teaches that he will change your life

very smart man whatever you do don't plagiarize your work he will find out and fail you. Language Signs and Symbols is a complicated subject i couldn't imagine 90% of professors teaching it well at all Innis does it best. attendance is mandatory he doesn't like you to be late either so get there early, read and write to show understanding for an A

Prof. Innis makes this class very interesting. Assignments are not too difficult, but gives you a chance to reflect on various aspects of God. Grades papers by next class period and is a fair grader. He's a wonderful teacher, and if you are an honor's student I recommend taking his course for honor's credit.

Professor Innis is an excellent lecture teacher, though his notes are somewhat unorganized on the board. He grades papers very fair and is always willing to give any help he can to improve your grade. He is also very funny and keeps class entertaining. Definitely recommend this or any of his classes

He's a brilliant man...grasping what he says is hard, though. He's fair with grading papers, but you only have 3 for this class and a lot of reading. It's a great course, but it's a lot of work. Be prepared for that.

Innis is an awesome guy - so smart - so helpful. But I had to drop 2 of his classes because I didn't really follow what he was saying. I am not really into philosophy so that could be the reason. I think for the most part people need a basic understanding before taking some of his classes.
