never had any idea what he was teaching. spent the whole class listening to his rambling. very unclear on what he wants. half the time he doesn't know what he wants himself. gives random unfair grade at the end since barely any assignments were due. If you can avoid taking this class, do it.

Took GD3 and History of GD with him and both times felt that his presentations and assignments were unclear. He never really knew what he was trying to accomplish in class, and rambled on and on about things that did not apply to what he was supposed to be teaching. On occasion he has really interesting and helpful feedback though..very unique mind

Can make a 2 minute conversation into a 25 minute conversation. repeats himself a lot, if you don't follow the guidelines exactly then you'll see it in your grade. I feel like he didn't let any of us explore into our designs.

I took Fundamentals and Intermediate with Kostick. One of the best professors I've ever had. He can really help you learn a lot about graphic design and pushes you to do your best work. Very helpful in and out of class. Lots of projects that help you build your portfolio.

Tolerable...if you have a mind of your own and are creative you probably will not get along with him, at least that was the case with me. Clear about what he wants, if you go against the grain it will show in your grade.
