The best professor you will ever have for Calc I & II. If you are lazy, I certainly do not recommend taking his class. Strong Algebra skill is definitely a plus. He is extremely helpful if you ask for help. He has office hours as well as his intelligent TAs. His explanations are very clear and straight to the point. Kowalczyk is the man. [Q.E.D.]

I took his course back in 1994 and he was the best. Make sure you understand and practice the material very well. He is a good person with a nice personality. The way he erases the white board is truly funny. If you are a lazy person, do not take the class. You will learn a lot. His favorite phrase... "Any suggestions??"

Amazing teacher, really smart, knows his stuff. He wants to help you, encourages you to stop by his office for help. Test are pretty hard so do the homework, and u should be set. Drops 2 lowest quiz grades, and scales at the end of the semester. He wants you to pass this class. I recommend him 100%. Pay attention in class and you should be fine.

Hard as hell. Tons of work. If you want to learn a lot he will be the guy to take. Goes over multiple sections a class. Really hard tests. Not really that nice. He's all business. If you ask too many questions he might just turn off his hearing aid and turn around and write on the board until he is done.

this was by far the worst teacher i have ever had in my entire life! he is unconcerned with anyone actually learning the material. he is senile. the material on the exams is much much harder than what he actually teaches in class.
