DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS! I REPEAT DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS! His lectures are long & he reads the powerpoints word for word. He doesn't give partial credit! We didn't really use the book bc he would make up his own terms. I honestly felt like he had an ok teaching style, but all hope was lost when he gave out the test. Nothing he went over was on it.

Worst teacher in my 3 years of college. I had a 4.0 before this class, not only have I never gotten a grade lower than an A, but I failed this course. Dr. Leach is ill prepared for class, lectures for a constant 2 hours a day, and doesn't answer any questions. He gives out study guides that don't help with the test, no partial credit. Do not take!

Awful! Boring, I think he likes to see his students suffer. Never used the book, only read from very long power-points word for word. He told you what to study for tests but he makes his questions very tricky. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Lectures the whole class, will call on you to answer ?'s. He does like word for word answers. I did receive partial credit on some questions. Tests and quizzes are VERY tricky. He will help you if you ask for it. I do believe he enjoys making his class difficult. If I had found this website earlier I would have dropped his class. TAKE SOMEONE ELSE.

He was the worst teacher I had. He made up a lot of terms so you could never look them up. He would never give you partial credit, if it was wrong you got no credit. Also he had the grossest ponytail I have ever seen and his skin looks undeveloped like an fetal baby.

Do NOT take this professor. I have never in my life failed a class before this but he gave me an F. He never used a book, made up financial terms, quizzed/tested on material we had never seen, and made it impossible to pass. He also bragged about failing students. It would be a complete waste of your time/money if you take this teacher.

Most people say the class is hard, but I didn't find him to be that difficult. He is quite boring, but he isn't that tough. You'll have to pay attention in class and do your work, but you can make it out with an A if you try.

Avoid this teacher with higher level finance classes(and at all). I have never studied so hard just to pass a class. No personality, no partial credit, word for word answers. Quizzes, in my opinion, were more difficult than the tests. Expect trick questions on the quizzes, and the exam. I concur with the previous statements, take Newsom!
