Good guy, lectures are hard to follow. Test was fair but the concepts are better learned out of the test rather than in class...

WORST PROFESSOR EVER! His lectures are dull, useless, and so hard to understand! To make matters even worse, his handwriting isn't even legible! If you want to succeed in this class, you're only real hope is to take your own notes and reach your textbook inside out! He always seemed to belittle the students who had questions.

Nice guy, tries to be helpful, but you're not going to get anything from the lectures. Maybe its just me, but constant over developed proofs are not how i learn math.

Comment:
Make students feel stupid if they ask questions and gives horribly confusing explanations. He's the reason why perfectly capable science students go into humanities. Awful prof, switch to another section ASAP or read your textbook like the bible, that's the only way you'll learn anything.

Comment:
His explanations need a thesis attatched to them. Be ready to write long answers to easy questions. Oh and he gets frustrated when you ask questions... so its best not to. But if he does answer it he will make you feel extremely stupid and dumb it down to kindergarten level. Not a bad teach, average.

Calculus is WAY simpler than Miers makes it! He doesn't prove any of the theorums! He seems to think that we have no brains and won't understand them, but then, with his extremely confusing explanations, we probably wouldn't.

He is a VERY nice prof who really tries hard in class to make people understand. But its hard to understand him. too complicated explanations to students who (if they were going to go onto higher math courses would be in math 100)
