Prof. Moore is a fine Professor for anyone willing to work and learn outside of the classroom. His lectures provide the basics and it is your job to make sure that you understand the material. He doesn't hand you everything but will help you when you struggle. He's not the most intriguing Professor but he is caring and understanding. Don't hate!

Had him for Econ 101. Really nice guy who knows his stuff. He cares about the subject, so to get you to know the material he stresses the importance of homework. It is essential that you do well on the papers. They are a decent amount of your grade so don't take them as a joke. He treats you like the college student you are.

Professor Moore is an experienced and knowledgeable teacher and I really appreciate his enthusiasm for teaching. He gives his students a lot of chances to practice and there're multiple ways to show your understanding of class materials. (It also means a lot of homework). But he is unorganized and he gives confusing and tough tests sometimes.

His class is extremely unclear and he is an extremely nit-picky and unnecessarily tough grader in the process. Taught myself everything with the textbook and still didn't do well in the class/ feel as if I learned nothing.

Very tough grader.... his grading standard on writing assignments and exams are extremely UNCLEAR! Avoid this professor like PLAGUE! Do not take this corse with him unless you want to ruin your GPA.

Extremely vague with teaching and assignments. Have to guess what you're supposed to do in the moment, asking questions is frowned upon.

I learned a lot in professor Moore's class. I found that as long as you got your homework in on time and read the book, you were set. Very good professor.

Extremely tough grader and assigns very long problem sets. There are only a few writing assignments in the semester but he grades them very tough. Went to office hours to go over quizzes and problem sets and he was basically pushing me out of the door and didn't seem to want to take the time to actually help and explain concepts to me.

He assigns excessive amounts of work for a 101 class, and you barely get any credit for it. He is incredibly unreasonable to talk to. His lectures are confusing, incredibly hard to follow. Doesn't answer questions, penalizes you strongly for missing one class but barely gives you anything for the MOUNTAIN of readingwork you have to do. DO NOT TAKE

Robby Moore is a great guy. He really knows his stuff and he teaches it clearly. His problem sets and exams are fairly tough, but if you study what he covered in class, you will do fine. He can be pretty funny sometimes too.

Professor Moore tries SO hard - and he never seems to have a bad day! Although he sometimes inadvertently misspeaks (and doesn't realize it - that's up to the students to figure out), he really does present the subject matter very clearly. However, if you dislike group work you will dislike his class.

he is very funny and adorable. difficult subject matter but if you do the reading, try your best on the problem sets and go to office hours for questions the tests should be quite easy and straightforward. if you put in the time you will get a good grade.

Laid back, middle-of-the-road teacher. He definitely knows his stuff, even if his class isn't all that exciting. Sometimes he makes these really lame jokes, which I personally find hilarious and endearing, but most people probably don't. Decent prof, you could do a lot worse.

Very helpful if you go into his office hours to ask questions, but can be somewhat confusing in class. He almost makes up for the boringness of econ with his obvious enthusiasm for the subject.

Prof Moore is fairly organized in his lectures, but they are boring. He's not an outstanding teacher, but he's not a bad one, so it's not necessary to avoid him. His tests and problem sets are fair, his expectations are clear.

The guy knows his stuff. Although his lectures can be rather dry, paying attention really pays off. Sometimes he runs his lecture slower than I would like, but at least he makes sure that everyone understands something before moving on. The structure of the class is extremely effective at covering a good amount of material.
