He was the best instructor in the program. He has retired and many of us miss him daily. He really understood the concept of design and the arts. He never lets us get away with nothing, and pushed us harder everyday.

Rob wasn't my cup of tea. He definitely knows his stuff, no question, but you have to make your way through HOURS of nonsensical rambling for him to then talk about the business for all of two minutes. Seriously painful. Assignments are incredibly vague. Not for you if you don't do well without clear instruction.

Right now, I'm in his Design and Color class. I first had him 8 years ago in his Drawing class *now it's Drawing for Illustrators*. He is one of a kind. He has one heck of a sense of humor, works with students especially when they are working hard, and he's very positive and tries to push students out of their comfort zone. I love him for it!

What an excellent teacher! His ability to really get his students to learn has helped me imensly. His use of more traditional mediums was invaluable. I have been graduated for several years and can easily say that I have to credit partly his instruction to landing jobs like Art Director, Graphic Designer, Web Designer, and more for several local, national, global companies. A wonderful teacher and good man.

Design & Color. Very nice person and has some wonderful real world experience its just out dated. He teaches every thing manually there are not computers used. No to many people draw everything by hand these days. Did learn about color but assignments are very vague and you have to try and figure out what he is looking for.

Rob is a hoot! Be prepared to work hard and see where he can take you! His depth of knowledge and experience is amazing. Don't try to pull one over on him, he will take you out at the knees.
