Loved this class, great class to take, he sets the bar high in grading, but it really motivates you to think. Don't think for a millisecond that you can BS your way through. The thing that some comment I seen complain about are the very reason he is a great professor. You earn your grade for sure, I would like to thank him for the great class!!!!!

Easy guy. Just do his assignments. and you will be good. quizes are easy, test are even easier. The subject itself can be boring if ur not into it, so participate and have discussions to actually make the class fun. Very straight forward and a lenient grader. At the end of the day i had a lot more interest in the subject then i would have imagined.

I made certain that I had Dr. Oxley this past semester. He's a very smart man and if you take his classes seriously (like you should any class!) you'll do well. He can instantly detect laziness and slackers, so if you fit into that group, you're done. Participate his class! Raise your hand! Contribute!

I liked the text and thought that it was rather interesting. Professor Oxley is very intelligent and funny at times. The class may be boring at times for someone who is not interested in philosophical discussions, but it's the best class to take for an upper level humanities requirement.

The text that is required for the class is boring and dry many of the times, however Oxley does his best to make it interesting. As long as the text is read and the student does his/her homework this class is very doable. Oxley is always there to help and answer questions. Great Prof.

Oxley is one of the more boring teachers at this school. He is sometimes pretty funny. But the material is just very hard to make interesting. He's very helpful, friendly, but I just had trouble staying awake. Tests and Quizzes are easy. Lots of reading, boring reading.

Fairly easy class. There is quite a bit of reading, but it was interesting reading about technologies,future predictions. It was interesting to me. Quizzes and tests are easy....essays with tests are somewhat diff. not to bad though. Final is take-home.
