As an architecture major, easily the most demanding and time consuming major at RWU, I don't understand why Poniatowski is getting a bad rap. I will admit at times he can be a little confusing and unclear, but if you just take the time to read his guidelines for papers, it's an easy class. With the little time I had to do his work, I got an A-.

By far the WORST class I have ever had to deal with. Picks favorites. New assignment given every class. Literally looks for things to mark you down on purpose and enjoys it. Never compromises over anything, he is always "right". 80 minute class, most time completely wasted by jokes that aren't funny. Never let's us out early. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS

He expects you to know everything right off the back in all things grammar. Personally lecturing how poor your writing skills is his favorite game. Don't bother seeking the time to ask for assistance, because he will just refer you to the bedford handbook. Overall he is not a bad person, but he is in fact, a bad teacher.

He thinks he's so hilarious but he's really not. He's a very, very hard grader too, often his instructions are vague. I've gotten several assignments back saying I "missed the point," because I never knew what the point was! I don't recommend him at all.

If you talk with this teacher, and go to the writing center, you will get a better grade. If you do not like writing papers then do not take this class. We had 7 papers and had a 1st and second draft for each. The papers were not hard, but there was usually a paper that had to be written.

Wow, people at this school are pathetic. This professor is excellent, you just have to work hard for a good grade. He was very helpful with everything and even recommended me as a writing tutor. Extremely sweet too!

I had trouble staying awake in this class. the teacher made bad jokes and did not make the class fun at all. i got the same grade on all my papers and they were not all the same quality...so do really well on your first paper.
