Dr. Premus is quite possibly the worst professor I have ever had. If you don't read the book not only will you fail the class, you will not know what he is talking about in class. His tests are based on your reading and the powerpoints.

I am convinced that he actually does know alot about economics, but he really has no business trying to teach what he knows to others. He is very disorganized, and you just need to stick to reading the book!

It is very obvious that Dr. Premus knows his stuff and is very knowledgable. The problem is, he cannot convey it to his class very well. He seems to stumple over his words a lot and make mistakes in teaching that could prove costly. Don't be afraid to take him, but don't expect much help. You will be learning from the book before the end

He's a nice guy that obviously knows his stuff, but can be hard to pay attention to and his lectures don't always make sense. I found myself skipping class on a regular basis and teaching myself straight from the book. I got an A and if you can handle reading the book on a regular basis it isn't incredibly hard.

Dr. Premus is a GREAT professor! He knows his stuff. This may be a problem for students who have a hard time with Economics. He is old-school. He expects you to read the book and be prepared for class. He does cover the material however, if you are clueless coming in, you will be clueless going out. Tests are hard!

Dr. Premus is an amazing resource. He has a ridiculous resume and should be taken seriously with whatever he says. He doesn't want anybody to fail so ask for help if you are having problems. An excellent professor.

Wow, this guy is boring. He talks himself in circles and each class is fairly painful. If you take him you might as well stay home and study then show up for the tests. I will say he genuinely cares about his students but as a teacher he's not so great.

Dr.Premus is a wonderful guy. He does have some trouble communicating to young minds. He wants you to learn the stuff so if you have a question just ask. His tests are hard but not that hard. Go to class and pay attention to lecture and you will be fine.

Dr. Premus is probably one of the most intelligent professors that I have even had. He was a part of one of the greatest presidential time periods in American history! However, he has a hard time bringing it down to a General Ed. course level. He expects too much.

A very nice man. He tries his best to explain macro econ in the simplest terms. Willing to answer any questions you may have. If you pay attention slightly and follow the text, you'll do fine. Would recommend to anyone needing to take 205.

HORRIBLE. didnt know anything about economics going into this class, the quarter is now over and now i know less. class time is useless, lectures dont make any sense. the only thing that got me through the class is the textbook website has powerpoints and quizzes that really help. do not take him unless you already have an idea about econ

Dr. Premus is a good professor. His teaching style makes you actually interested in economics. To me, this course was easy. But the majority of the class did "ok". Don't think you can come into this course without putting fourth any effort and except to survive. Hes a good professor, probably once of the best I've had. But this class isn't easy.

Premus is really, really nice. Unfortunately, he also cannot teach. He had to curve our final grades so much that my two Ds and a C somehow became a B. Imagine how poorly the class would have had to do to warrant that curve. Don't just assume we were all idiots, either, because everyone I'd talked to did very well in 204.

Spent one day a week studying for my other two classes. Spent 5 days a week studying for this one. Assigned reading is 600 pages for the quarter and its econ, not easy reading to know like the back of ur hand. If u want an A work ur butt off. Seems super super nice though.
