Professor Quist is a great guy, he is passionate about what hes teaching. There were quizzes every week over what we were learning, that helped my grade a lot. This class is lecture heavy. All he does is lecture . The reason I feel this class is so difficult is because he says so much thats irrelevant that you dont know what to take notes on.

this course is not a hard course it is just a lot of information to take in in a short amount of time. If you attend lectures and write notes you will pass with an A. Be sure to study! He does tell you what will be expected to know for the tests.

This class deals with plays and sculptures. The plays are very hard to understand on your own, so you must go to class. He does an amazing job explaining the topics and as long as you take notes you will pass with no problem. He is very passionate about the topics. 1 online quiz each week and 3 tests.

Literally my favorite professor at Ferris State. Professor Quist is seriously hilarious. He gets so into the lectures and is really passionate about what he teaches. If you need help, don't worry he wont let you fail! He'll do anything he can to help you if you go to his office hours! He knows most students by name and he cares about our success.

Great Class and Professor. Required text is easy to read and understand. Class format is perfect for online learning. Good discussion participation, quiz and test structure. I loved this class. It was a short summer class and definitely do-able. I learned a lot.

Quist tells you the answer to all of the multiple choice on both quizzes and test. You still need to show up to every lecture because that will give you the answers you need for the short answers. He will give you the topic for the SA, but does not spell it out for you. Don't waste your money on the book.

Dr. Quist is passionate about movies. If you are also passionate about them, you'll love the class. There was a quiz each class about the movie we watched the previous week. They're really easy and there's usually extra credit available on them. Also don't buy the books! He gives notes on the movies in class and both books are in FLITE anyways.

Dr. Quist is a hilarious man who will make a class that would otherwise be difficult enjoyable. He likes to make you laugh and basically gives you all the answers to the online quizzes as long as you attend his class, same with his exams.

Basically, show up to class, watch the films, and you'll be ok. Most of them are boring, but he makes them interesting by explaining them. There are weekly quizzes with the chance of extra credit. They are really easy if you show up to class. He gives great study guides for tests and none of them are cumulative.

If you are thinking about taking his online classes, don't. The weeks normally start on Monday and end on Sunday. His; you would be lucky to find out your assignments on Tuesday night or Wednesday, and everything is due on Friday. I am full time school and full time work, so having to worry about when I will get my weeks assignments is the worst!

Great professor! Gets really involved with discussions and won't be afraid to call on your to get you involved too! You will have a quiz every week and they are very straight forward. He will sometimes tell you that answers. Tests are just longer quizzes. Show up to class with a good attitude and participate in lectures, I promise you'll do great

Lectures in class are hard to follow, he gets really exicted about myth and rambles on forever about them, tests are so confusing, questions are the most random ones you would never think to study for, easy grader on the essays, but better know everything from the book inclduing captions and random paintings for the tests.

It sounds easy, then he starts talking, and you think "what the hell did i get myself into" but the tests are SO easy, and hes really laid back about grading. the "essay" questions are just short answer where you only need to write one word. his lectures are really confusing but if you write down all the mumbo-jumbo he says youll get A's.

This is an awesome class!! You can tell he is passionate about this stuff! Take this class for sure, the quizes are super easy and the tests are multiple choice and then identify a few pieces! Make sure you study and go to class because he tells you everything you need to know! You don't use the book much but It does help as a reference!

Funny teacher, but test ARE WAY TO HARD. Study guides he gives don't help at all, and his notes are not clear either. Avoid if you can.
