hes so funny once you get to know him. He's a great professor. Dr. Rubinstein really wants every student he has to understand the material for the course. He goes out of his way to meet with his students to make sure they are doing well.

No online homework and lectures aren't mandatory, but he doesn't post any notes. Go to lecture and make sure to pay attention, his slides are confusing and you have to really listen to get the important info. No electronics in class and he'll call you out if he sees you using them. Must read 2 books and write papers. Not the most compassionate guy.

Comment:
During lecture he can be very dismissive and disrespectful toward students. Very picky about grading the exams. The class didn't do well on the first and he offered no encouraging words or extra help, he more so blamed all of us. As far as reviewing for exams, non existent. Very misleading about what will be on it. Appears funny but is egotistical.

interesting class, 2 midterms and final (all multiple choice)- attendance isnt mandatory at lecture but it is at recitation. have to read 2 books (not really the first one, but u gotta write an essay on the second one). he is sorta unclear at times and his notes are hard to follow

only 2 tests and the final. tests are multiple choice and are easy cause he gets the questions from the online tests. the resections are easy you have to read 2 boos. the first one you really dont need to read but the 2nd book you need to write an essay on which is annoying. but over all its a great easy class and he makes it interesting

He is technologically challenged. he doesn't know how to use blackboard & never gives extra credit. never take a class with him, it'll frustrate you more than learn anything.
