Sharpley is great. Lectures are crystal clear. Gives study guides and practice tests. His website is very helpful. Definitely recommend him for any math class

Sharpley is never in his office during office hours. He is the most horribly boring teacher I've ever had in my life. Avoid him at all costs for this course. He grades way too hard & tells us stuff like "for the exam you'll have 8 questions from previous exams and 2 you've never seen before" how can you put something on the exam we've never seen

He is a very smart man...it is just hard for him to teach...also..the material is very hard....he has good curves...i probably should have gotten a B in the class but he gave me an A...likes participators and those who take the initiative to email him w/ questions and see him in his office.

Sharpley knows his stuff, but he knows it a little too well. There were times that he expected us to know things we didn't and would laugh at us for asking what he was doing when he lost all 60 of us. He's a nice guy but really out there, and all over the place with his teaching style.

this course SUCKS, very hard material, but sharpley is very good at teaching it. he has a website with homework assignments, old exams, and notes. he really knows his stuff and is eager to help students and curve exams
