Lectures are not required, however he does have a few pop quizzes which aren't hard but are at random. The lab is required in which has a worksheet for each that counts for different amount of credit, not too hard. The difficult part are the exams! they are hard, but the curve definitely saves you. Like a jump from a C to an A.

Excellent teacher, very concise, clear and knowledgable. A little tense sometimes in office hours, but helpful nonetheless. Tests aren't too bad..the calculations tend to trip students up.
