Sturm is THE MAN. HE EXPOSES CORRUPTION ON A GLOBAL LEVEL. He wants you to adapt his political views because they are the lesser had, CORRECT ones. He doesn't try convincing students of anything other than the truth, which he documents and uses compelling evidence to do so. Take this if you think you have the world figured out. RARE, AWESOME.

Very charismatic prof who portrays mostly his views of the world. I did not like him bc he only presents one side. Most of the authors we read were of one party. Says he is independent and portrays both sides but rarely does. Clearly shows his political agenda. Easy if you do the work but must put up with his political views. Nice guy bad prof

By far the best experience I had at Mercyhurst! The reading is all current, newsworthy articles collected from recent magazines & newspapers. His insights are invaluable and honestly changed my life. Funny, and unabashedly frank. Take notes and participate and you will glide through the term. I'd do it all again!

This is by far the worst waste of money I've ever had in college. He teaches his opinions, and expects you to know how he feels. We learned, in this course, about Vietnam and Global Warming and that is it. We did not speak of starvation or third world countries, and if I had wanted to learn about Vietnam, I would have taken a history course.
