Had fun & learned A LOT. He's very enthusiastic about the important stuff, and laid back about everything else. Knows his stuff, but gives you credit for having a brain of your own. Good sense of humor. Good one for a heavy class.

Wason is the best theory teacher I had while at Eastman. I learned so much about theory and how music is constructed from him. I can understand how the young, immature student might have trouble seeing the genuis of this man, but please, do not fault Robert Wason for the incompetence of the freshman

His sophomore theory class was one of the most frustrating i've ever taken. It's hard to know what you're supposed to be learning when he explains things in the most unclear way imaginable and doesn't give homework that actually helps at all.
