Yoskowitz is a real gem to be around, he genuinely cares about his students and tries his best to explain things thoroughly. He grades fairly and has reviews before every test. He looks at art with a unique eye and i had a great time hearing what he had to say about the different art pieces. Highly recommended class and professor.

If you have a choice I recommend NOT taking this professor. He doesn't explain the task thoroughly. He grades bias sketches every Friday it is not a DRAWING CLASS so you need to be Van Gogh clone despite art is supposed subjective. AGREE WITH EVERYTHING HE SAYS. He likes to be right so just stroke his failed artist ego. I no longer enjoy drawing.

He's a photographer NOT a Painter. He is a great person and i respect him but he isn't good when it comes to demonstration because he doesn't know how to use drawing/painting skills, he isn't skilled enough to teach drawing styles. I think it would be better if he talked about colors and composition instead of doing his own demonstration.

He is a very mellow and nice teacher. This is my second art class that I am taking with him and I could not be more happy to attend his class everyday. He does not have a big personality but he is just calm an very easy going. Definitely take his class!

He just throws assignments at you, without giving you any direction. There is no learn and apply in this class. If you have questions, which you will, you're on your own. He has a constant sense of urgency to jump from student to student because he cannot commit to actually devoting his time to any one student. I learned more from you tube.

Sure, he's nice. He's very easy. He's lenient. However, I haven't learned a damn thing, and I am here to learn. If you're serious about your education or serious about starting a Graphic Design career ASAP, you will be DISAPPOINTED.

Prof. Yoskowitz is good professor. His lesson are clear, and understandable. All you have to do is write down whatever he says, look it over and you will be fine. If the notes aren't clear then read the assigned book pages. TAKE HIM!

I had him for history of architecture 1 & 2 and architectural graphics. In history of architecture he'll basically give you the test questions in advance. You don't really need to pay attention until he gives you the test review. Once he tells you what to review, study that and only that...its the only stuff that will be on the test.
