Comment:

I had Dr. Morris for the topics in psychology class, and I would never recommend this class with her. Her tests are easy and her lectures are kind of interesting. In this class, undergrads and grad students are both present. She questions you during the entire presentation and the grad students talk down to you. It is a toxic environment.

Comment:

Dr. Morris is really wonderful. The subjects that she teaches are because of their nature, but she teaches so well and so clearly and the tests are made to help you show what you have learned and get the best grade possible. She is such a smart woman and really does care about her students.

4 tests- drops the lowest. 15 online 5 question quizzes - drops the 5 lowest. 10 HW's (1 page papers)- drops the 5 lowest. tests are 50 question fill in the blank with NO word bank, a few short answers you can pick and choose to answer, and essay question. all i will say is QUIZLET. use quizlet and you'll do fine. tests were HARD for me,quizlet!!!

Comment:

3 exams and a final, but drops your lowest exam. Weekly super easy at home quizzes, and biweekly super easy homework. You have to go to class, though. She doesn't take attendance but her exams are a mixture of stuff from the book and her lectures. You have to memorize all of the vocab of the chapters. Nice professor, and is very understanding.

Dr. Morris really knows her stuff, she puts a lot of effort in her lectures to make them interesting. We had online quizzes every week on the readings that were easy, and 4 short papers due throughout the semester. She drops your lowest exam (besides the final), if you go to class and read the textbook you'll do fine.

I respect Dr. Morris a lot. It's obvious she has a lot of knowledge about this subject, and she's a good lecturer. The only thing I will say is that our class got really behind as far as following the course schedule.

Very discussion based with only several easy homework assignments throughout the semester. Tests were basically take-home, and she is a very easy grader. Interesting class, but so easy to get an A! She's super nice and passionate about her subject.

Dr. Morris teaches a tough class. If you go to her office hours, she is extremely willing to help and make sure you pass. She doesn't take attendance, but you have to go to class or you won't pass the class. Keep all your old tests because the questions are on the cumulative final! Great teacher, but will make you work for a good grade

Dr. Morris is an amazing professor. Because this is a psych class that deals with biology and anatomy, it's a tough one, but Dr. Morris is always there to help. You will not pass this class if you skip it regularly. Pay attention, take lots of notes, and you will be fine.

Dr. Morris is great! If you actually want to learn something that you will take throughout life, take her. Not saying that this class is a piece of cake, but definitely obtainable if you do your part. As you learn to take her exams your grade will go up. I personally LOVED her.

This class was incredibly hard. If you take it, you are going to have to study like crazy to do well. The information is very difficult but Dr. Morris is very interested in the subject which helps. She is helpful, but you really really have to do your share of the work and more in order to do well.

Prof. Morris is a nice woman, speaks clearly, tries to get to know her class. The class material itself didn't interest me and I didn't do well, but that isn't really a reflection of her. Before taking this class, be sure you know what "Sensation and Perception" entails! There are 3 tests (drop lowest grade), 6 hwks (drop lowest), 1 cumul. final.

Class is very boring and she makes no attempt to make it interesting in any type of way. She talks like she is teaching doctorate students instead of undergrads. Tests are hard with only short answer and essay. I wouldn't recommend taking her to anyone!
