I had her for both MAT 012 and MAT 135 and I wouldn't have gotten an A without her ongoing patience and hands on help! There was always a teachers aid in her classroom (be patient with them and Toman, they're only 2 people helping multiple students!) You got extra credit if you stayed after in the lab and did your hw! AMAZING TEACHER!!!!!!!!!!

Take every math class you can with her, she genuinely cares about the success of her students. She goes above and beyond to make sure you understand the material, her lectures are amazing, after listening to one it just comes so natural so pay attention. Took her for MAT-011, MAT-013, as well as MAT135. Great professor, incredibly sweet, and beyond caring! The only way that you could fail her class is if you do not put forth any effort. She will help ANYONE that ASK for it (even if you're not in her class!). I honestly don't know if I would have had the determination to pass math without Mrs. Toman

I tried taking this class twice prior to this semester. Taking this course with Mrs. Toman earned me an A, plus I finished two weeks early! She also helped me to not have to take MAT012 next semester due to my A. I now get to move on to Statistics (which I'm also taking with her)! By far one of the most caring, loving, understanding, helpful, and best teachers i've had hands down period. Math is a very tough subject, with her she'll stay way after class, and go out of her interests to make sure you understand exactly whats going on even on some graded assignments. The final was a breeze. She is a great mother-like figure.
