Comment:

Makes the class very easy to pass and succeed in if you do what you're supposed to and show up to class. He knows his material well, and will help with any homework problems (which is where most of the points are earned in class) but usually messes up on arithmetic, so as long as you follow and correct him he'll give you any answer to homework.

Dr.Caponigri would feel insulted if you did not call him Dr. All I learned at all in his class was that he missed 1 day in college which was ROTC. He is old and stubborn. If the heading is not exactly what he wants on your paper you will get a 0. Makes too many Mistakes, and refereed to all us black people as brothas and sistas. Overall he is a D-

i don't know what is he doing it the class. he is forgetful, and doesn't know what he is doing himself. a lot of times he dont know how to do a question and he just skipped and pass to the next one. something the student need to correct him if he did the question wrong, and he start to argue that i didnt teach that before which he did.

Mr. Caponigri seems tired of teaching a class full of students that don't care. That being said, if you show that you're working hard, and you have patience with his...senility, he makes it easy to get an A in his class. Watch your grade closely however, as he tends to make mistakes in grading. If you respect him, he will respect you.

He may be old but he is a very nice teacher and person. Packets for each section are handed out at the first class so be sure to keep them safe! wants you to truly succeed so makes you partner with someone to help you or you help them if absent etc. Lots of board work and willing to help on h.w. q's in class.

You have to rely highly on your own in this class. Prof. Caponigri comes to the class always unprepared, clearly has no passion for teaching. He gives extra time for you to finish up tests. But on the final, he all of a sudden becomes cranky and pushy. My suggestion: do the homework, prepare for quiz, your accumulative points will save u.

Horrible at teaching. Many times he would not know whether or not he had the correct answer. He always forgot what homework had been done. Lost many grades. Never checks email . The class is easy as long as you don't listen to what he says. He can teach very well ... on only have the material.

i had him for m99 n we did not use our book at all. i returned mine the first week of school. he is pretty easy & straight forward. if u need extra time on a test he will be more than happy to give u extra time outside of class. i really enjoyed his class. u do need to do a lot of hw, about 100 mc problems each class.

I would recommend him to anyone that has difficulty in math...he is very easy to understand and really cares that people understand the material. As long as you do the homework and come to class there will be no difficulty in passing at all.

Thought he gave students every opportunity to do well. If you didn't do the homework...then you would not do well in the class--count for most of grade. Almost everything was Multiple Choice in Tests. Wanted to see students pass. I enjoyed his class.
