Tests are hard and does not curve them. Kind of confusing in class. Goes off on tangents alot. Does not explain well the things that are really difficult but expects you to be able to do them. Over explains the simple things. Do not take if you care about your GPA and don't have 5-10 hours a week to devote to this class.

Moves way to fast and doesn't explain in enough detail. Yes he lets you use 1 page notes on quizes but they are extremely hard. Take this class with a different prof. He is rediculous.

The subject matter in this class is difficult. He's nicer than he will seem on the first day and be prepared to go to office hours! Quizzes are unannounced and make up approx. 50% of your grade. The other half is your final exam. Understanding sigma notation is necessary as he basically assumes you know it. Attending class every day is a MUST.

course takes a lot of work. If you do the homework you'll be fine. he was nicer in office hours than in class, writes out exactly how to work a problem through if you don't understand. Final exam was open book and note. I made sure to have all of my homework in front of me and I got an A

i won't say he is a good teacher or bad teacher. u name it. here's the class really like. 1 page cheat sheet every quizes and open note for final. homework = quiz only different number. test = homework = quizes. willing to explain your problem and patience. u name it.

Worst professor EVER. People say "Oh if you pay attention, you'll make it through the class" Ya. I had a 3.8 GPA until I took Gledhill, I received an E! I went to EVERY class, understood every homework assignment, but failed every quiz and test. He changes the objectives. AWEFUL! UNHELPFUL! BORING!

This teacher is pathetic, not in that he does not know the subject matter, but in that he has no desire to teach students. Basically, everyone gets a "B" in the end regardless of performance. I tried to get him to show me what I did wrong on my final and he had lost it. Doubt he even graded it.

Professor Gledhill is by no means an easy teacher, however he is one of the most effective. Statistics is not an easy course to learn with any teacher, but he does his best to clarify any questions. You need to work hard to do well. A's are earned.

THis guy is very boring and talks as if we have already seen this crap before. Ask him for help and pretty much just looks at you funny. Ask to show how you got an answer, and he just puts it on the board and says this is how you do it. Bad teacher.

This was a very difficult class and he didn't teach it well. Had to do a lot of work and it took a lot to keep up. Needed a tutor. But, I had an E going into the final but ended up with a B in the class. You decide.

Loved the class. Professor was explicit in examples. If you didn't do your work..HELLO..you wouldn't do well on the quiz. Allowed a cheatsheet for quizzes and exams...everything was right there you just had to copy down the examples onto your cheatsheet.
