He is all around a great guy. I had the pleasure to have him for 3 networking classes the man knows his stuff. Fun guy to learn from.. Schoolcraft its going to be hard to replace such a great teacher and human being. This year is his last Year I wish him the best. He is retiring .So for all future students you missed out on one heck of a teacher.

He is a good teacher, and a very nice guy. A little unclear at times, would be my only complaint. But he's always willing to work with you all you need to do is ask. The teaching style isn't very different from most professors, the student needs to be self sufficient.

Professor Santiago has so much knowlege in various areas, truly a technologist. He has unique methods that allow you to learn how to find answers to situations and learn a lot in the process/s. Again, it's remarkable how much he knows about so many aspects. If you do the work you will get graded accordingly. He is fair, empathetic and reasonable.

Great for Networking 1 - I notice most reviews here are for non-networking classes. He's a good instructor, long lectures but quite informative. SHOW UP to class, pay attention, do the review questions in the chapters and you'll most likely get a 4.0. Expected more hands on, mostly terms & protocols but I really can't complain, that's networking 2.

Mr. Santiago is a very nice teacher, but his lectures are BORING. He is very very lenient with late work, as long as you get it done you're golden. He is a good teacher for self-motivated people who work independently.

He is quite boring to listen to during the lectures, but he's leniant with everything. You can be late or only come in for 30 seconds, just as long as you sign the attendance sheet. Your assignments can be late (try not to though) and it doesn't take much to get an A. He feels very strongly about computers and he can help greatly if you ask. I would recommend him.
