Prof. Bove is very eccentric and a bit difficult to follow. If you go to his office and need help he is available. Plus you can take notes to the test! Very difficult class but doable.

sooo unorganized, his office looks like a storage closet bc of all his papers and books..his tests are impossible to finish and completely different from what was done in class...if you can wait a semester for a better teacher definitely do it, i've heard some other profs are much better

The hardest class I have EVER taken! You have to teach yourself if you go to his office he just prints out his notes and says that it will help with whatever problem you have. Maybe smart but he can't communicate. The Final was 25 pages long. Assignments take days to complete. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Wait an extra semester if you have to.

I wish there were more selections for Quan. Business Statistics 2 teachers. This guy is a horrible and can't speak right sometimes. He teaches/reads his outlines from his website, never ask if anyone have any questions or actually understands what he is talking about, and hardly even looks at the class when he lectures for over 2 hours straight.

bove is a good guy, but he's extremely unorganized and flies through everything. he wants students to learn, and is willing to help, but he's too smart to be teaching. i didn't do anything in the class (and rarely went) and still got a c. he puts a huge curve on everything.

This guy is a flat out jerk. Inconsiderate, unhelpful, and his exams are nearly impossible to complete even with a giant curve. His system is way to confusing to follow. Brilliant and smart but not down on the level of a undergraduate student.

Take home exams are so time consuming. By the time you are done you have realized did i do this right or not. He is not very clear with what he asks on the exams. I would highly recommend taking another professor before taking him. Although everything is curved beware of taking him

This guy is the worst Professor at WCU. I cant believe anybody would recommend taking his class. Even though the guy looks like Captain Jack, who is hot, he can't teach. Someone should recommend this guy to get a haircut, and shave off that ridiculous beard. I'm sure nobody told him that yet, so you heard it here first.

Boring. If you take him plan on spending hours and hours on his take home tests. Regular tests are very hard and the final is impossible. Very very smart guy though. gives a big curve too, just make sure you contact him and go to his office so he thinks you care.

There's only one word to describe this guy, HORRIBLE. He doesn't know how to teach at all. It almost seems like theres nobody in the room with him because he mumbles a lot, and I just couldn't take listening to him. He says "um" a lot, and it's annoying. What a waste of money. His tests are impossible and his writing assignments are even hard.

He was the biggest pain in my a-- this semester. The only advice I can give is take the time to TRY to navigate thru his web page. ALOT of tests and takehome stuff are right from there. He is brillant, but teaches like it is a grad course. Don't plan on getting anything from his class, and count on spending ALOT of time on his takehome stuff.
