Copies problems from yellow sheets of paper to the board while talking through what he does. He never faces the class or gets the class invlovled. Doesn't respond well to questions. Hard to interpret what he's trying to get accross. Very hard if you haven't take Calc before.

im really glad i took calc 1 from an excellent calc teacher last year in high school, becuase i cant imagine actually have to try to learn it fromt this guy. the test are ok and i never pay attention in lecture, but as i stated i know the material already and can fill in gaps from the book. if this is your first time thru calc, get someone else

I took this course last summer. Regardless of PDE being a tough subject, his lectures were awful. They consisted only of him going through examples. I ended up getting an A, but when I had to draw back on what I learned, I felt as if the only thing I learned in that class was how to memorize solutions for problems that were going to be on the exam.

The worst teacher I have had at UMR thus far. His tests are fairly easy, but forget getting partial credit. You can still get a bad grade, even if you know what you are doing. If you are in his class, you will learn far more from the book or other students. He doesn't explain things well at all in class, and he jumps around a lot.

This guys blows more than a **** on 89th. His tests are re-hashed from previous so just study those, all he does is change numbers, that's a bonus. However, I learned nothing. And yes he is a rude **** when you question him. For the love of God find another 204 teacher if you signed up for his class.

the second worst professor I've ever had during my 5 years at UMR. completely worthless. worked my but off til the first test and got a C. quit going to class and had my room mate tutor me the night before each test and did better.

Class became all about computer simulation, not math. Appears to be smart, but is by far the worst teacher I have had in my 3 years here. Fortunately, I got to do my group project with a comp sci major and got a good grade.

He is very friendly and if you go to him for help, he will almost solve your assigment for you. 50% of the grade was weighed on the assigments! The exams are easier than the assignments. He wears the same sweater every alternate day.
