I really really enjoyed Roland's class. He is such a nice man. He teaches very well, in a way that would cause you to learn the language faster than McKnight (but he is really nice too) by speaking Swedish throughout the lecture and helping us with pronunciation. He has great passion for what he does. I loved the class! I HIGHLY recommend him!

Roland is a really enthusiastic prof. He knows a lot, and integrates a variety of disciplines into beginning language study. He's a great guy to talk to after class as well, as his knowledge of Scandinavian culture is incredible. A likeable person.
