Comment:

Uncle Ron was one of the best professors I had during the Graduate program. Site Planning was hard and I worked for hours on end on the final project. I used my site planning project for a job interview and the employer was very impressed. He doesn't just lecture, he trains you for the professional world, you just have to be up to the challenge.

Goes off on tangents during lectures, friendly on a personal level but quite snide during lectures. Knowledgeable about planning and a lot of valuable experience, but many of his outrageous stories seem unbelievable and false.

'Uncle Ron' spoke of how he didn't care about what he saw on RMP.com. Tough marker but a good guy at heart. had PLG 320/800 and PLE 555 with him. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience and taught me how to 'do planning' and opposed to 'talk about planning' :D

He's completely unstable, has no filter, is agonizingly unapproachable, and looks down at all his students. Figure out how to produce good assignments (on your own) and your grade shouldn't suffer. He is the best in the school. He is absolutely a very knowledgeable and a nice person. I learned a lot from him, not just for my future career but mostly for my life. He thought me to be a better person. I wish we had more like him in our school. I wish all the best for him and his family. God bless you Professor Keeble.

This a great class that should actually be required, not an elective. The prof takes you through every aspect of conducting thorough analysis and proposals for site renewals (or greenfield development if you choose). But be prepared to work hard! I had to prioritize this class above studio which is very rare in our program. But have fun with it too

Great Prof. I agree with some of the previous comments here, where at first he comes across as a complete jerk. However once you get to know him (especially outside of class) he is truly a great man. If you put the effort into learning, and it shows, believe me he will help you in any way he can. Very knowledgeable.

He can be intimidating at first. Your work has to be VERY detailed and almost perfect, otherwise your marks will suffer. He has a short temper and told us to leave half way through the class because we didn't know the greek alphabet. He can be helpful though, and outside of class he is a pretty nice guy.

Keeble needs to retire. He spends two hours yelling at students and telling us we are all going to get sued and fired and that none of us are worth living basically. He's a bitter bitter man and should NOT have contact with young minds entering the profession.

I didn't like him at first b/c he came off as being really a cranky old man. Things really turned around though when I got into 3rd year. Ironically, he became a mentor. He is very intelligent, respectful, approachable, and loves passing on his wisdom if you are willing to learn. Really nice man when you're one on one with him.

As a teacher, he's so-so. If you need help, he's the first one there. But his planning principles seem pretty controversial, and he has no shame in putting up a fight if he feels any bit challenged. He seriously needs to relax and be more open-minded. Most people don't agree with him, but don't want to tell it to his face.
