To give you an idea of what a little turd this guy is his undergrad is business I don't think he is an environmentalist at all, he saw an emerging field where it would be easy to get ahead He agreed to move his native plant garden when they agreed to make him the president of the Professors Union Shows no interest in students and goes on tangents

Have had Dr. Sundell for 2 classes and they were both difficult. I never got the feeling that he was interested in the classes, he was more preoccupied with being the faculty union president. I would not recommend taking his classes if it can be avoided. I do not feel like I learned anything in GC 475 or GC 320.

Dr. Sundell is a great prof. He knows what he's talking about, and he's willing to explain things if you don't understand. He's a little demanding when it comes to class attendance; he takes it every so often just to see who's there, and gives points to people who show up often. Go to class, read the book; you'll rock the class, I swear.

Class is nothing but lecture, and sucks thats its a 9 in the morning. Don't really need to go to class just look at the powerpoints after you read the chapters it makes sense, test can be tricky cause he words them funny, just use plan stupid people words.

I have taken many classes form Ronald. He is insulting in each class to anyone who contradicts his ideas (even though he wants arguments). We are tired of hearing about argonne national labs. you all are boring... saying the same things over and over... sundell just doesn't care to spend the time making lower level classes "exciting" for a bunch of freshmen. if you take any env classes, or conservation, or planning, you'll find that he's teaching em. by the time you're in the 3-400 level you'll understand he's practically your peer

I agree with everyone else, but I think this guy needs clue. I felt he was trying to teach a 100 class at a 400 level. I didn't find him helpful at all, I tried to ask him questions, but he always got pissed. I have had bad teachers before, but this guy takes the cake. If you don't have to take his classes....DON'T!!!!!!!!!!!

Class was extremely boring, he's a nice guy, but his lectures are worthless. You can honestly just read the book, show up and take the exam. Exam are tough as well, expect to study quite a bit. Not very interesting, not recommended. As a person though, he's very nice and helpful.
